Not a fit may include:

• Children requiring intensive medical care or constant medical supervision.
• Children with frequent aggressive behavior (e.g., biting, hitting, self-injury) or severe hyperactivity disrupting sessions.
• Children who need continuous one-on-one supervision beyond what we can provide.
• Children with contagious conditions or severely compromised immunity, making group settings risky.

All children begin with a 6–8 week trial period, during which we assess fit and progress:

• If the child is a good fit, we create a personalized program tailored to their needs.
• If not, we provide recommendations and referrals to other professionals or resources.

Yes — many families use a Personal Budget (PGB), a financial arrangement provided by your local municipality.

To get started:

• Contact your local WijkTeam (youth care team) to request support.
• The municipality will conduct an evaluation to assess your child’s needs.
• If approved, PGB funds can help cover the cost of therapy at Rainbow.
